Employer reputation used to be a guess. Now it's an answer you can measure.

Candidates don't read your careers page first. They ask AI, check Reddit, scan Glassdoor, read the news — and AI stitches all of it into one answer. For the first time, the whole picture is observable. That's the opening. We measure the answer, trace it to every source behind it, and give you the plan to change it.

Every model tells a different story

Every market tells a different story. Every function shifts it again. None of it is on your careers page.

Traced to every source

AI answers are the surface. Underneath: review sites, forums, news and social, weighted by how much they shape the answer — so you can fix the input, not just the output.

Candidates make up their minds before they ever reach you.

They ask AI, read the forums, check the reviews — and decide. Most employers never see that conversation. These numbers are from our own research on how job seekers actually use AI.

AI is the default

96%

of AI-using job seekers research employers with AI

And they believe it

84%

trust what AI tells them about an employer

It changes decisions

82%

say AI has changed their mind about pursuing a role

And it gets you wrong

58%

have caught AI giving inaccurate information about an employer.

Soon they'll delegate it

77%

would let an AI agent run part or all of their job search.

Know exactly who you're losing to

The competitive set AI actually puts you next to, per market and per function. Not the rivals you assume. Often it's a local scale-up, not the global name.

GEO tools track whether your product gets mentioned and tell you to publish more. Agencies and surveys measure once, sell you the campaign, and never measure again. We measure every channel, fix the sources, and prove the shift.

Frequently asked questions

How PerceptionX works, what it measures, and why it's built for talent — not just brand visibility.

Who is PerceptionX for?

Employer brand and talent acquisition leaders at organisations of around 1,000+ employees, where reputation spans multiple markets and functions and quality-of-hire matters.

Is PerceptionX a tool or a service?

Both. You get the platform and the data, and every quarter you get a report and a working session with the founders: tiered actions with owners, tailored to your markets and functions. The output is a plan, not a number.

How is this different from a GEO or AI-visibility tool?

Those tools were built for marketing teams to track whether a product gets mentioned in AI answers. PerceptionX is built for talent. We measure how you're described as an employer, not just whether you appear; we use the real questions candidates ask, in their own language; and we trace every finding to the review sites, forums and news shaping it, so the fix is at the source, not "publish more content".

What is the Employer Reputation Index (ERI)?

One score for how you're seen as an employer across every channel candidates trust, with AI answers as the headline reading. It combines three pillars: how positively you're described, how often you appear, and whether you show up on the themes that matter with fresh, credible sources. It's scored per market and per function and benchmarked against 50+ employers, so you can tell a "nobody mentions us" problem from a "they mention us badly" problem. They need different fixes.

Do you cover non-English markets?

Yes. Prompts run in each market's own language. What AI says about you in German, Japanese, Arabic or Portuguese is measured natively, never translated from the English answer. A single global score hides the differences, so we score every market separately.

Can you break perception down by job function?

Yes. How AI describes you to a software engineer is not how it describes you to a finance or warehouse candidate. We score each function on its own, so you're not acting on an averaged-out picture. If engineering reads strongly and early careers doesn't, you see exactly that, and where to fix it.

Can I use PerceptionX inside ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot?

Yes. Connect PerceptionX to your AI assistant and ask it directly about your score, sources, competitors and themes. ChatGPT and Claude are supported today, Copilot is in certification, and it works with any MCP-compatible assistant, including inside SAP SuccessFactors via Joule.

What's the difference between Measure, Strategy and Amplify?

They're the three layers of one system. Measure is the score: how AI describes you as an employer, in every market, function and language, traced to the sources behind it. Strategy turns that score into a quarterly plan: tiered actions with owners, reviewed with the founders. Amplify moves it: your employees, alumni and candidates get heard in the places that carry weight.
